Lately when I design and build a guitar for someone it's just that. The customer chooses their own level of involvement which changes as we go. So far this has worked out really well. I don't make many - it takes about a year (sometimes two) and about a man-month of effort to produce whats showcased here. Cost is a significant hurdle as I don't use cheap materials and although it's a labor of love - well you get the idea. I currently have 2 customs in process as well as my work with Tim on his Chrysalis which means I'm pretty busy. That said it's always good to start planning early, so if working with me is on your radar - let's talk. I don't want to put a lot of legal disclaimers or promises here - suffice it to say that anyone who owns a Bill Daly Guitar will be taken care of as long as I keep waking up without seeing roots. If you have accidents or neglect the needs of your loved one we'll work out costs of repair in a fair and equitable manner. If something doesn't work out due to workmanship or defective materials then I take care of that. Basically we all need to be happy and the blues we sing should have nothing to do with your axe.
One can never have too many guitars…
